About Wm Brown Holster

For over 120 years the family at Wm. Brown Holster Co. has created exceptional leather products. All items are handmade, hand carved and hand dyed by the Browns. They are still using the same tools and sewing machines that made their forefathers distinguished leather craftsmen.

Bill and his wife, Barbara, have invested their time, talent and personal passion in the same business for nearly 30-years. Bill inherited a few genuine treasures - sewing machines and carving tools from his grand father and great-grandfather -and learned to appreciate these tools during his high school years. He is an artist and has created beautiful leather products for customers all over the world. He is intuitive when it comes to making a customers' ideas transfer into a finished leather product.

The Browns were ranchers, so Bill has long made horse tack, rifle scabbards, saddlebags, pommel bags, saddles, old west headstalls enhanced with handmade silver conchos. Bill taught Barbara the trade of carving leather and the pair's hobby evolved into the business you have discovered here, serving customers nationwide.

Today, the Browns live in Southern Arizona with their small "herd" of horses, calves, dogs and Barney the Cockatoo, who is now 23 years old.

All of the fine custom leather products on this site are handmade by "The Maker", the only custom holster and saddle maker in historic Tombstone, Arizona. If you don't see what you're looking for on their web site, please ask as they make so many different items, they may not be on the web site.

The Brown family thanks you for your interest and looks forward to filling your orders.
